Looking to design a unique wood lamp with a butterfly theme. The lamp will have a small blue lightbulb with hydrangeas inside of it. and hand-carved wood butterfly. (see attachments for examples) I am looking for design ideas for how to put together a lamp that would work well with those two components. the light bulb fixture can be recessed into the wood see picture for dimensions. (see attached picture). All wood components will be milled by table and band saw. multiple components can be either glued together or a mix of glued and screwed with small wood screws. there is no preference as to wood type. I am more interested in seeing what kind of designs there are to make a truly unique and special lamp.
