Hello, I have worked on V4l2 drivers for making Videos Streaming with PCI, USB and Wifi interface. I have also worked on Military grade Application with Real Time Operating System to make Videos streaming with lowest latency and in encrypted format. I do want to know that whether you are looking for Firmware specifically for Video Streaming or you are looking general purpose Firmware and need smooth streaming for 30-50 people. As you have stated that you have not yet selected Wifi Module, if you select minimum 1GBps speed chipsets then you can make 50 user stream Video with 1080p custom Firmware. I have worked on different microcontrollers and wireless systems. So want to know, what about bound rate? What kind of protocols should your AP support? Which protocol do you use for video streaming? Whats the range? How about dimensions?

Hi, I am really interested to work for this project as i have already worked in custom firmware peripherals like I2C, SPI etc, worked on V4l2 driver and Video streaming as well. I need to know what chipset you are going to use for your wifi to make it possible to access more than 50 users ? And what video quality formate (720p, 1080p) you are going to stream over the network ? Btecause it will help you to choose your wifi module. I think 720p would a choice as it is supported by all major HDTV broadcasting standards (such as SMPTE 292M). For firmware devepment you need to ship the hardware once it it is fully developed. or if you have a dedicated person to reset/enable the hardware so that i can access it over here using SSH.
