Electrical Engineering test & design -- 2

We are a small instrument manufacturing company. We currently have several related electrical engineering projects underway in the development of an absolute encoder. The designs are approximately 85% complete. The task is to fully complete the projects. The successful candidate for this project ideally will have: • Experience in electronic circuit design • Familiarity with low voltage switching power supplies • Familiarity with hall effect devices • Familiarity with analog to digital converters • Ability to develop firmware particularly as pertains to Microchip Technology PIC microprocessors • Familiarity with electrical noise suppression methods • An ability to do 4 layer PCB layout work would be considered a plus This project will also require test and debug of the circuitry and insuring that the circuit can pass CE test requirements. Deliverables will include - Finalized schematic drawings - Finalized bills of material with specific component manufacturer part numbers - All associated firmware - Complete PCB layout (only if candidate has this capability in-house) - gerber files (only if candidate does PCB layout in-house) -Prototype test data verifying the design and ability to pass CE testing (Candidate will not be responsible for procuring prototypes.) As mentioned above, this is several different but associated projects. Because of the multiple projects payment on an hourly basis is preferred.
