Key functionalities of the software should include:
- Order tracking: This feature will provide real-time tracking of orders, allowing customers to know exactly where their delivery is at any given time.
- Payment integration: Ensure secure and multiple payment options for our customers, so they can easily pay for their orders.
- Menu customization: A feature that allows restaurants to customize their menu in a user-friendly way, adding and removing items as they see fit.
User account types are also essential for this system:
- Customer accounts: Accounts for customers to place orders easily, track their history and save their preferences.
- Restaurant accounts: Accounts for restaurant owners to manage their menu, view and accept orders, and track their performance.
- Delivery driver accounts: Accounts for delivery drivers to receive order assignments, track delivery locations and update order status.
