The RBD team is looking for 2 talented developers with a keen eye for design to add to our growing team. In this position, you will work as an integral part of our team to solve problems and build innovative web solutions. You will contribute to a wide range of projects and will participate in all stages of design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Job Description: • Develop in website builders such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify and Squarespace • Build websites from wireframe sketches followed by QA testing • Code new WordPress themes, page templates, and plugins from scratch and modifying existing themes and plugins • Maintain and optimize current websites • Ensure functionality across browsers, operating systems, and devices • Review site analytics to optimize sites for lead generation • Implement tracking and testing of sites • Monitor and troubleshoot security issues, plugin issues, and theme conflicts Job Requirements: • 2-5 years of experience as a web developer • Must have a solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap or Materialize • Must have a solid understanding of PHP • Knowledge of Ruby on Rails and/or node.js is a plus • Expert in WordPress Development, Plugin Creation, API • Solid understanding of using FTP with Wordpress • Solid understanding of grid-based design, layout, typography, color and other design principles • Knowledge of internal SEO optimization • A current portfolio demonstrating strong user interface and visual design work • Graphic design knowledge is a plus
