The Hiring Manager,
Happy Monday!
This is in response to your "Saleperson required for Product Sales in the B2B space" job post. I have the honor to apply.
I've been working in the call center industry since 2008 and more than half of it in sales. From 2017 until the height of the pandemic, I rejoined the self-publishing industry as a marketing consultant and eventually became a team leader. I was doing the whole nine yards, from cold calling aspiring authors, making acquisitions, to selling publishing and/or marketing services. I've also spearheaded a merchant cash advance account that deals with small to medium businesses particularly those who were having a tough time getting loans from financial institutions. I was also part of a call center that reached out to targeted retail shops for innovative products featured on ABC's "Shark Tank" TV show.
Furthermore, I have considerable experience working in customer care, billing and retentions, as well as technical support for leading brands in information technology and the telecommunications industry. And even though it's customer service, issues were mostly resolved through solutions selling.
As to gettting my first sale, I have to make sure that I have a good grasp of what I'm selling and I have to really be persistent in getting hold of prospects. I have to maximize every opportunity that comes my way.
I would be happy for an interview.
All the best,
LEMUEL MONTERO
