Wordpress Theme Developer We are looking for an experienced Wordpress theme developer to work with us on a long-term per project basis. We design and develop high-quality Wordpress-driven websites and expect all our developers to maintain our standards. As a developer, you will be given a Sketch design file to follow to build the Wordpress theme. What we are looking for: * Must be able to build Wordpress themes from scratch. We aren’t looking for a developer that builds off of pre-made themes (although starter frameworks such as _underscores are ok). * Must be experienced in building functionality into themes rather than installing a plugin. Installing plugins is ok, but we would like to see them at a minimum. * Must be able to take a design file such as Sketch and convert it into a Wordpress theme. Attention to detail is important as we count pixels. * Experience with custom post types, custom fields, and the Advanced Custom Fields plugin is a must. * Experience building mobile-first, responsive Wordpress themes with Bootstrap framework integration. * Must be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and have some experience in PHP. Bonus points: * Located in North America or South America. * WooCommerce theme integration experience. * Wordpress plugin development experience. * An eye for design. Lastly, make sure to fill out the interview questions if you want to be considered.
