I plan to complete the project via writing an Excel macro contained in a separate XLSM file. This approach makes further use of the macro very convenient by offering a Control sheet containing cells to identify the current input and output files and hosting command buttons and other controls if necessary. In my approach you'll have opportunity to consult details with me, to test pilot solutions if necessary in order to achieve an optimal final solution. Having done this for other clients already, I will give you a Macro file that works as follows. Open supplier price list. On a "Ranges" spreadsheet, list all your dealers and their "discounts" (not clear whether you give different discounts to different dealers), Then enter the Tax and Profit Margin(s) onto same sheet (not clear whether you have one discount and Tax rate, or different ones for different products). Macro will then apply those calculation automatically to the supplier's pricelist. So when your supplier(s) change their prices, your Price List spreadsheet will show any changes automatically. I can make a macros which will satisfy requirements. I thin vba in this case is more appropriate as the file you are getting from your supplier is in spreadsheet. So I will create a connection with your data and the data autocratically will be imported in a table, from where the calculation will be generated. However, I have experience with building excel files to do this type of work and based on the information provided in your posting, I am confident that I am able to complete the project accurately and fairly quickly within excel. For quick and successful completion of the project, please provide the following: - A report from your vendor that I may use as an example input file - Formulas for each pricing level with the desired headers for each associated formula - The version of Excel that you are using I will create an excel file based off of this report using the example input file and the formulas you provide. This file will use a vlookup of the product number to reference the vendor prices for calculation to create your pricing sheet.
