Custom filter widget for Wordpress/Woocommerce

We need a custom post query and according filter for displaying two custom post types in one list. The process should basically work like this: Category and Keyword search form on the landing page On submitting the form the user gets to the results page The results page is also available as a link in the main menu, so step 1 and 2 are optional The results page should display the result lists with pagination for both custom post types, in one list The results list should display a filter widget in a style similar to amazon or [login to view URL] (no submit button, the filter criteria are links with number of posts in brackets, with categories like at udemy as button with drop down list displaying two levels and the widget for each selection of the first level having the same size) The user should be able to select one of the post types (or decides to keep both post types in the list) and filter by category (used for both post types) and several other taxonomies which are connected to both post types (language, level, and others) The page should automatically, instantly update when the user clicks on one of the filter criteria When the user selects one of the post types then an additional filter should appear: a slider for selecting low to high prices We are working with the Toolset plugin and Woocommerce. One of the relevant custom post types is a Wordpress theme-predefined post type (course) the other one is a bookable product (Bookings plugin by woothemes). The price is set up differently in both post types – the one post type is a Woocommerce product whereas the other one is a custom post type with a custom price field. The bookable product has to be integrated in the result list so that the bookable product list items basically look like the course list items (image size, item width and height, font style). The custom post list item display is basically done, the display of the products has to be styled accordingly.
