We are building out a store for downloadable software & games. • Prefer a Joomla store so that the site & store are integrated and users don't have to make two separate accounts. • The store needs to have a good search feature - OS, Category, Price, Developer, Publisher, Genre/Gameplay, etc. • Some games/products require Serial numbers or Keys. We need the ability to upload a set of codes/keys & one key is sent out with each unit purchased. • Customers need to be able to access their order history & keys & should be able to re-download their past purchases. • We need the ability to early put products on sale for a period of time. The sale/discount price should be easily visible to the customer. $19.99(crossed out) $14.99. • We need the ability to sell multiple products on one page. Many games are bundled, where the customer receives 2 or more download links (and probably serial numbers) with one product. • Some products offer customers multiple options. For example, customers can choose between Standard or Collector’s Edition (different downloads, different prices). • The products should be easily editable with limited HTML knowledge. Digital download. Hi, I have been developing websites with Joomla since 2008. I'm therefore skilled and qualified to deliver your project on time and budget. There are a number of eCommerce solution for Joomla. The most common ones being Virtuemart and Hikashop. Virtuemart doesn't work with Joomla 3.2 for the time being and Hikashop would require the 'Premium" version to handle your custom product fields. It's not very expensive anyway. Depending on the version of Joomla you're using I could use either of these solutions to create your store and configure the options according to your requirements. I tend, however to prefer Hikashop as I find it easier for clients to maintain their products. So if you're using a version of Joomla anterior to 3.2 you would need to upgrade first. It would also be useful to get the URL to your current site to get an idea of the current look and feel. How many different items do you expect to sell, how many customers? Do you sell domestically only or also overseas (to configure taxes) what payment methods do you want to accept? All this will have an influence on the configuration and potentially the plugins you will need. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
