Magento Stone Edge script modification

We are using Magento Payment Bridge and Paypal Website Payments Pro. We import our orders into Stone Edge (Monsoon Commerce) Order Manager. Stone Edge provides us with a script in order to import the orders. This script is supposed to import the paypal transaction id, but since moving to payment bridge, the transaction id has moved to the comments field of another table. What we would like is for someone to modify the script so that the paypal transaction id is now imported into order manager. I believe that the only difficulty in this project lies in the testing because the information is rather sensitive and testing would be difficult since you don't have order manager. I would imagine that I would give you the script and the pseudo code, you would modify it and in order to test it, you would need to give it back to me to test. If it works, great, if it doesn't work, we will send you the screen shots and any other info you may need to try again. You may be able to set up a test environment using dummy data, which would be great, but I am not exactly sure how to do that. Here is the psuedo code: Look in table sales_payment_transaction and get txn_id IF txn_id > 15 characters //this happens when the customer uses paypal express THEN paypal transaction id = txn_id ELSE store order_id (example 55429) form sales_payment_transaction table SELECT * FROM `sales_flat_order_status_ history` WHERE `parent_id` = 'order_id' (captured above) Grab comment field. Should look something like Original gateway transaction id: #9EV88373Txxxxxxxx. Authorized amount of $97.90. Transaction ID: "870". Return the paypal_transaction_id by parsing out the string after "id: #" and before "." The other thing about this project is that you would have to tell me exactly what was changed in the script so that when/if we upgrade to the next version of the script, we can add the changes there as well.
