Hi I have a software that needs a little modification. It is called Geovision and it's designed to record 4 video channels cctv like. It is also designed to be connected to a pos(point of sale), through rs232 in order to overlay the text with the shopping purchased at that pos over the video( so then you can see the video and the text with what is purchased at the same time) I'm using it to display a number(counter) on the top left corner and the problem i have is that is overlaying this number row after row after row, and i want it to be displayed only once. Now these is because the sender is sending this number continuously(btw is a changing number)and the software is displaying any new information on the next [login to view URL] is an option within the software to set the time the text will be displayed, but the minimum is 1second, or my number is sent 2-3times a second, and here i need somebody to change this in the software. Hi, Let me get this right. The RS232 sends the steam of text data, like what has been purchased. There is some kind of video feed? Is that video like a movie or TV show? So that the text is on top of the video feed. Do I have that right. I have a number of video applications AND I have programmed RS232 POS printers so this seems doable. Do I need to modify your existing code? Or can this be my own stand-alone application. Thanks Eric
