I am an eBay vendor for trading cards, comics, collectibles, and hobby supplies. My main problem is getting bitten by fluctuating card prices. I already offer the lowest, but recently I was taken for $200 after a few cards skyrocketed in value (not the first time). I do not have time to manually update prices (even in turbo-lister one by one). I am looking for a way to be able (once a day or so) scan competitors website, and be able to automatically update my prices to 10% - 20% below what they sell at. I would like for the pricing to be updated without my manually doing it. I use Turbo Lister to list all of my auctions. At the current time I do not have a website only an ebay store. I can automate this using ebay API and cron. The steps will be as follows - 1. A cron (scheduled task) will run every two hours. 2. The task will go to any two competitors website (even better and fast if its just one competitor website) and compare the price. 3. Using EBAY API it will update the price of your listings.

Hi, i can help you, it's a fairly simple project and task. An automated script that will update a database table with your competitor's prices on some intervals(daily, hourly, every 3 hours, etc.), and another one that will edit yours so that they are below theirs via the eBay API.
