How to apply for this job: ---------------------------- 1 - Send message with short summary of how you will do this (what you will use, such as JavaScript, MySQL, etc., plus some basic steps - just an overview). 2 - Estimate the total hours or cost you will need. ## Deliverables We need to set up the following web programming: When a user clicks our Google Adwords ad (Auto Tagging is turned on) and then lands on our web site, we need the following to happen: - Set a permanent cookie in the user's browser. - Store the following information in that cookie: --- Search term used in Google search box. --- Keyword that caused the Google ad to display. --- Ad group the keyword is from --- Campaign this ad is in --- Ad info (if available) --- Date and time. --- User's IP address and general location (based on IP) --- Any other info if needed. --- A unique ID number, assigned sequentially. We will then do the following steps ourselves: - We prepare and upload a PDF of their quote to a special directory on our web site. - We e-mail a link to that customer, explaining that they need to click it in order to download their quote file. This creates a return visit to our site, and allows us to make a connection between their cookie data and their quote file. - When they click the e-mailed link, your code needs to collect their cookie information and send it to us along with the file name they downloaded.
