Java application: Draw a rectangle by dragging the mouse - Write an application that allows the user to press the mouse button down, drag the mouse, and release the mouse button. As the mouse is being dragged, the user should be able to see the current size of the rectangle that is being drawn. As soon as the mouse button is released, the rectangle is drawn. The rectangle should be a solid black. Make sure that as the mouse is being dragged, the rectangle shows up, but is not permanent until the mouse button is released. Kind of like the selection tool on the windows desktop. The application should use a mouselistener. Make this relatively simple. Use variable names that are easy to understand, and comment the program so that it is easy to alter. I need this by this Wednesday night. I prefer that you have it done tonight. If you can do that, that would be great.
