Design an ecommerce website Typical login features, catalog frontend with administration backend, has buying features with count down timer. The website shall be similar to [login to view URL] homepage (With three additional features) 1. Postage calculator embedded into site from ([login to view URL]) and added to total price 2. Eway online payment gateway connected module ([login to view URL]) 3. Third feature to be discussed on award of project Designed to run flawlessly on Google chrome Will be connected to a database management system of your choice (Mysql, oracle etc..) Time is not a constraint Functionality is of high importance Hosting and domain name will be supplied by me Two stages project 1. Site operating according to Functions required 2. Implement graphic design to make it look good The developer will be awarded both projects. I do not care if you work in a team or choose to do this project independently. To be eligible to enter: Email me a methodology via freelancer Note: all of the required questions need to be addressed otherwise your email will not be read and will not be in the running for this project. • How you would design this site • Why you recommend this method over other options • Are you designing it from scratch? • If so what language will you use Java , php, html5, or will you use a default e-commerce engine (oscommerce, magneto etc) and modify it to our requirements • Rough estimate of completion time (excluding the 3rd additional feature) • How you propose to be paid: (Lump sum progress payments, Hourly hire etc) • Require details for one point of contact. Here are the answers to your questions: o How you would design this site - In terms of development, we would use Wordpress as a base framework and then we will add the necessary functionality to fully meet your needs. o Why you recommend this method over other options - because we have had previous experience with this. o Are you designing it from scratch? - we will build it based on Wordpress framework. o If so what language will you use Java , php, html5, or will you use a default e-commerce engine (oscommerce, magneto etc) and modify it to our requirements - we will use PHP and MySQL o Rough estimate of completion time (excluding the 3rd additional feature) - around 2 months of work, including testing and bug fixing. o How you propose to be paid: (Lump sum progress payments, Hourly hire etc) - Considering you will have modifications for the product during our development period, I would suggest hourly rate. But if we agree on a strict specification list and we do not have to add anything extra in the development period, we are okay with progress payments, every 2 weeks or so. o Require details for one point of contact. Contact will update me on progress and display live running samples - me or my partner will be available to talk to you. We can be reached on Skype, Email and phone. We are excellent English speakers. I have an excellent team of programmers, designers and testers. We have the capacity required to provide you with one or more full time programmers that will work on your project until 100% completion. We usually work with a project management system and a bug tracking system an also a SVN. You will be able to see each day's progress on the project not only through our SVN commits but also on our development server. If you do not already have a server we will give you access to our own server where we will be developing the application. You will have access to see everything that happens there.
