I would like to have a hit counter created in php that is called by a html image.
Example:
![][1]
The count would be stored in mulitple .dat files like so:
etc..
The number after "?" would represent which .dat file to increase the count in.
The .dat files would be stored in the .dat file and would like to easily add as many as necessary.
I would like the numbers to be in .gif format stored in a images folder within the hitcounters folder.
File names would be like so: [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc.
I would like to have good desriptions in the php script for easy editing if necessary.
I will be using them in a black background enviroment and will probably have white or yellow numbers but this may change if i'm using it in a different background color page so the gifs will probably be transparent gifs. Putting this hit counter system on other pages may require having the hit counter in different size so doing so shouldn't be to difficult.
It would also be nice to have it only count unique users so I don't know if this would be possible. Using cookies maybe? I don't know.
