On a PC the standard mouse has between two and five buttons. On a Mac they only have one button.
I want to control the mouse with a simple widget or utility so that no matter what button on the mouse is pushed it is received as a Left click.
This is designed so young children or disabled people can more easily handle a multi button mouse with it only able to provide left clicks - the same as a standard Mac Mouse.
Click and hold still needs to work.
## Deliverables
This is a simple utility. Please keep that in mind when you are quoting on this.
The utility Starts. It offers the user two choices:
Turn On - Left Click Only
Turn Off - Left Click Only
It has one check box (minimise to system tray) This allows the user to choose to have the utility minimise to the system tray instead of the task bar.
There are three command line switches -
/on - Left click only is on
/off - Left Click only is off
/tray - minimise to system tray
There should be a simple ini type file that stores the last state so the application starts in the last state it was in.
If there were an extra setting to let the utility check there are not multiple instances of the application running I will take that into consideration in choosing the coder.
Please - no canned bids or standard responses. They will be ignored and rejected out of hand.
All bids must contain a line stating you realise it needs to run on Win98 as well as XP and 2K.
Cheers,
Shane
