ActiveX control framework for IE

Hello, We would like specific source to be developed for us. Basically, it would involve writing an ActiveX control that is going to be used in Internet Explorer. The component has to be written in C++ (Visual C++ 6 or .NET), _without_ ATL or MFC. Just plain Windows API (as much as possible, since it will of course use COM). The objective is that we can use this basically empty application to allow our current software to work in IE. That's why the ActiveX control doesn't have to do or display anything. What we want, though, is completely documented code, and being able to keep in touch with the programmer in case additional simple questions regarding the software are required. Here is a list of what we want the ActiveX object to do : * Basic WINAPI ActiveX control, without MFC or ATL * An empty function that gets called when the control is initialized * An empty function that gets called when the control is "disabled" (IE is closed, for example) * An example property for the control that will be accessible from IE through DOM * An example method for the control that will be accessible from IE through DOM * An example of accessing IE's DOM (for example calling [login to view URL] from the ActiveX object) * An example of how arguments can be passed to the ActiveX object directly in the HTML file. * Various information on the capabilities of the ActiveX control (simple stuff though, few questions) * A main function that runs an infinite loop with a Sleep( 100 ); without hanging IE * A function that returns an HWND for the control * A way to change the control's width and height Note: assuming the work is done correctly, additional work will be asked later to the same developer (at least an installation system similar to Flash). In the end, it might end up as a complete job offer. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform * Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP * Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+ (better if 5.x too)
