23743 Joomla Component Modifications

I have a Real Estate site that is based on a Joomla Component. The website is http://www.vancityblue.com. Go to the BLU Buildings section and enter any buildings detail page. The end product should look like the right hand column titled, "Listings". Right now it is simply a joomla module that is static html to demonstrate what is needed. You must modify the blu_buildings component and integrate this functionality into it. The demo module is displayed on the property list page aswell as the detailed page, I want the final product to only display on the detailed page. Recap: The component must be modified to allow for a column down the right hand side of the detailed building pages, which will display dynamic listing data for the respective building. The listing data is provided in an easy to parse xml format. The address, price and sqft must be extracted for each listing in the xml and displayed as one line links to a detailed pop-up. The pop-up does not have to interface with joomla and will simply display the rest of the information that the xml file holds for the listing. An html mock-up will be provided for the pop-up. The modifications must be easy to customize/extend and portable. Past Joomla expierience is required with examples of previous work. If work is acceptable, this will be the first of many such works.
