I need someone to fix two bugs in my gallery directory script. The script is written in PHP with MYSQL and the admin functions uses some AJAX to speed up processing on certain admin features. The script will handle over a million records with millions of preview thumbnails, so I need someone who not only knows PHP and MYSQL but who also understands how to optimize code so it's easy on the server. I need someone who is good at viewing someone else's code and fixing the problem.
The script uses the following features and functions:
Bulk import using CSV delimited text
Scan galleries using socket connection
Downloading and cropping images using GD library
Saving downloaded and cropped images using a million/thousand/[login to view URL] system so that all thumbnails won't be saved into a single folder.
Output page caching to limit database queries and to load pages faster.
Output pages uses templates and tokens.
1st bug:
When importing gallery links, the script for some reason doesn't download and crop the very first record. All other gallery links gets imported fine with images downloaded correctly and thumbnails cropped & saved correctly. Only the very first gallery record has a problem.
2nd bug:
The output pages also has a bug. The output pages is supposed display links from newest to oldest, and it's supposed to span to page 2, 3, 4, 5, etc as needed. It works great except when it gets to page 10, 11, and up it starts displaying the same galleries as page 1, 2, etc except in different orders. So there is some confusion after page 9 because page 10, 11, and up thinks it's pages 1, 2, so on.
Remember the script is pretty much perfect except for those two bugs. The features and functions I mention have already been coded and works great.
Please PMB me before bidding, so that I can let you take a look at the admin area and output pages and explain further so you know what is needed.
