Why was this person writing about this? 2. What is the impact of this work? 3. Why is the paper still relevant? What are the commonalities in two articles? Where do I see the impact of this work in technology around me? And could this be done differently etc. (This is not an executive list of questions to ask, but simply a starting point how to engage with what you are reading)
1. Start with the high level ideas from each paper - you don't need to cover everything - it should be your one paragraph cheat sheet as to what was the point of the paper. For this, you can point to specific pages and quotes that you think are the important take away ideas - if you highlighted it, then it might be something you wanted to capture as an important point.
2. You can follow this with your own interpretation - like "I think these concerns are still relevant today because…" - something that is from your own head.
3. Somewhere in your post try to muse on what is the relationship between the papers (3 articles) - maybe they are in contrast to one another or one adds insight to the other.
4. If you have any pressing questions, add them to the end - these are things you should try to address as a group in class - it may be "what did he mean on page 10 when he said X" or "why don't we just apply Y to this problem?" (Mandatory needed)
