As for a fee per song, that all depends on the complexity of each song. It can be anywhere from $50.00 per song for a single vocal and one accompanying instrument to $1000.00 per song for full production with many vocals and instruments. I propose to compose children songs for you for $5555 and 167 hours of composition work (over the course of 20-21 days). I've worked with bands and musicians most of my life. I even ran a music school for 2 years in New York. I have been writing my own songs since 2007. I play guitar and can sing. Some samples are available to view in my Freelancer portfolio. I can provide more upon request. I'm not sure what to quote per song because there will most likely be a certain amount of back and fourth collaboration that is different with each song. After the initial 167 hours any additional work/revisions/charges can be negotiated as tasks using the proposed milestones function at the rate of $30 usd/hour. Hi, interesting sounding project. I am experienced in writing musical material/songs for schools in the UK, ages 5 to 11 which we present live with a small chamber group (taken from a full professional symphony orchestra). I have also worked with one of the major pre school franchises preparing musical material for use as part of their package. I can prepare songs in notation form and mastered audio form. Cost depends on what instruments you have in mind (live professional musicians or computer generated samples or a mixture) but a good rule of thumb would be a song a day (say $250 a day) plus musician costs ($60 an hour) if required for a 5 minute multi verse song. Half that if lyrics are obvious and there is a lot of repetition in the material. Even less for more generic, very similar songs.
