2.1 context A company is migrating its fleet of windows server to opensource solutions. it wishes to test different software publishers for each of the services that make up the company's IS the three services to be tested first are: 1)Log processing server 2)Highly available server 3)Multi-OS storage server 2.2 Realization Three architectures and services are proposed and explained, and you can choose to implement just one of them 2.3 Technical Expectations 2.3.1 Environment a)servers and clients will be virtualized using the hypervisor of your choice b)No containers may be used c)no "all-in-one" tools should be used d) servers must use an Opensource operating system NO "all-in-one" distribution (like kali linux) No graphical interface for server OS e)Windows client must use a recent version (10 or 11) 2.3.2 Security A)Each server must limit its communications on the network to what is strictly necessary. Only the service offered. Communication to the internet and the usual services of a company network should be authorized. +)All other traffic must be blocked B)You'll access Unix machines via SSH and Windows clients via RDP 2.4 Services presentation 2.4.1 Log server The log server collects, standardizes, stores and archives all logs from all company servers.
