Hi there, i am new to this site but i have pretty much experience with VMware esxi and vcenter as well as ovftool. I am currently working as a Systems engineer in a startup company in San Jose where my role is to work on automating the deployment of ova's to vcenter. Therse ova files are provided some external custom properties as well to pass username,password, ip address, dns, gateway, netmask and ntp addresses. i have made init scripts to take this properties and create the user on boot with provided username and passwor. in addition, it sets the network interfaces as well.
