Velo Developer Study 2

Wix, the no-code website builder platform, is conducting a study for 1st-time users of their new Velo product. The Velo platform is a code-friendly web development suite that empowers developers by simplifying many aspects of the web dev process. The study involves the completion of a set of programming tasks in the context of web development using the Velo platform while the participant records their screen and voices out their thought process and approach, with an exit survey at the end. The goal of the study is NOT for participants to necessarily complete all the tasks, but to collect feedback on the usability of the platform and the user experience of new developers. Hence, participants may continue to the exit survey upon completion of the tasks or after 1 hour has elapsed, whichever comes first. Please note that the recording will be reviewed prior to milestone release. Any doubts about the engagement of the participant such as unnecessary idleness or insufficient voiceovers of thought process or approach will result in the rejection of the recording. Upon the submission and validation of satisfactory deliverables, successful participants will receive a payment of $87.5 for 1.75 hours of work over a maximum of 7 days ($50/hr). Please review the eligibility requirements below: - Basic knowledge of Javascript in the context of web development - English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking - Audible and intelligible audio recording (no visual / camera required) - Screen recording (both for development and documentation) - Able to upload screen recording with mic audio privately to YouTube and make it only accessible via shared URL - NO prior experience with Wix or Velo - Residency in US, Canada, or Europe Please note that being able to record your screen and voice your thought process and approach are CRITICAL requirements for this study. If you are unwilling or unable to record yourself speaking English, you will not be eligible for this study. If you are interested and qualified, please submit a bid stating your confirming you have knowledge of Javascript and web development but NO prior experience with Wix or Velo. Thank you!
