Skilled HCL DX Developer Needed (Formerly known as IBM Websphere Transformation Tool)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HCL DX Developer to join our team on a contract basis. In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining innovative solutions using the HCL DX platform. Responsibilities: 1) Design, develop, and implement features and functionalities using HCL DX modules (Portal, WCM, DXM) 2) Leverage HCL DX features to create user-centric and engaging digital experiences 3) Develop reusable components, scripts, and portlets within the HCL DX framework 4) Integrate HCL DX with external systems via APIs for seamless data exchange 5) Implement best practices for content management, personalization, and security within HCL DX 6) Collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and stakeholders to ensure project success 7) Conduct thorough unit testing and integration testing to guarantee code quality and stability 8) Stay current with the latest advancements in HCL DX technologies and best practices Key Requirements: ******************* 1) Proven experience as an HCL DX Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects. 2) Proficiency in Java programming for HCL DX customization. 3) Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development. 4) Familiarity with RESTful APIs and portlet development. 5) Strong understanding of responsive web design principles. Required Skills: **************** 1) Minimum 5+ years of experience developing with HCL DX (Portal, WCM, DXM) 2) In-depth knowledge of HCL DX APIs, Script Applications, and theming capabilities Technical Stack: **************** 1) Front-End Development: a) Expert in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript b) Experience with a JavaScript framework like React or Angular 2) Version Control & DevOps (bonus): a) Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration b) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments 3) Familiarity with responsive design principles for optimal user experience across devices 4) Strong understanding of content management best practices and workflows 5) Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills 6) Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks Qualifications: *************** 1) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2) Relevant certifications in HCL Digital Experience (DX) [if applicable].
