Located in San Diego County, the Solana Beach Civic and Historical Society is assembling an 11,000 year pictorial history of the Western End of the San Dieguito River Valley. This presentation will cover three different distinctly different tribes of Indians, the arrival of the Spanish, the takeover by the Mexicans, six Anglo settlements plus the major developments of the San Diego County Fair Grounds and the Del Mar Race track and capped off by a $90 million wetlands restoration project. The presentation, which probably will have to be serialized, will contain about 130 historical photographs, maps and other images with no text except title slides. The text will be presented orally. We would like a much more professional and snazzy program than we could assemble with individually sequenced slides. Could you provide an estimate to assemble such a program? This might take the form of time and material charges and a ballpark estimate. We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization and would hope you have a reduced rate schedule for such a project. We have no fixed deadline so this could be a fill-in project. Hello Jim, what an interesting project! I would love to be considered for this. I did a gallery of photos not too long ago for a client. Her (Janelle) testimonial of my work can be seen on the Review page of my Profile (search, SVHA Awards, there are 2 reviews as she hired me twice) I had a peek at your website, what a lovely museum and collection. Your community must be very proud of your work, and you must love what you do. You suggest that you might want to see something more than "individually sequenced slides". A comment such as that could arise from your being inspired by another group's presentation, or something you have seen. Is that the case? Can you share what you have seen? Or, perhaps you want some beautiful slide transitions and fading in/out to enhance the show. Will you be taking questions during the presentation? I ask regarding timing .... sometimes we put in automatic timing for slides, but sometimes your 'clicking' on the advance is the best choice.
