157409 Corporate Design Web Portal

We are a start-up aiming to set up a new web portal which will bring together book writers, publishers and readers. We will create value for each of those groups by making use of new technology in a otherwise very traditional industry. We search for a partner to create our corporate design, including a logo, key visual, and typography for both our corporate brand, as well as the product brand. The requirements are as follows: Product brand (brand name will be disclosed upon award of contract): The product (web portal, community and commerce site) aims to target on three different target groups - Therefore the design should be appealing to authors, publishers and readers alike. The design should have a “cool touch” to it and possibly have an alternative accent (e.g. like converse). However, at the same time, it should not be too playful and wild, so the design needs to be well-balanced to also strategically fit the corporate brand with its values “reliability” and “innovativeness Corporate brand (brand name will be disclosed upon award of contract): The corporate brand design should be able to symbolize reliability and trustworthiness to a much greater degree than the product brand. Because of the different target groups and their heterogeneous perspectives, the design should be fresh and stylish on the one hand, but also sincere on the other hand.
