Implementation of a wireless protocol (many to one) on ESP32 using ESP-IDF (native API from Espressif) and ESP-NOW (wireless communication protocol from Espressif). The implementation must work with 7 ESP32 boards: 6 transmitters and 1 receiver. Each transmitter must send a 32-bytes packet (16 variables of 2 bytes each). The receiver must receive the 6 packets totaling 192 bytes (96 variables) every 10 to 20 ms with a latency less than 10 ms. The receiver will be connected to a PC and a data collection session will be started and stopped manually by a user. A session can last a few minutes to several tens of minutes. To reduce the energy consumption of the battery on the transmitting boards, the receiver must broadcast a 32 bytes message (16 parameters) every 60 seconds to start or stop transmission. This means that transmitters don't need to look for an on/off command after every message they send, but only every 60 seconds. The star wireless network is mainly one-way except for a few us/ms every 60 seconds.
