I found it very interesting that I couldnt wait to get home and message you formally through my laptop, thus I’m sending you this message using my phone. Anyways, based in what I have assessed in you post, you need a very flexible yet easy-to-use excel report template. Ti filter your report, Im thinking of using a validation lists instead of dropdown/ combo boxes since the latter not only, most of the time may require VBA code but also addtional formulas that may increase the size and complexity of your excel file. Moreover, what will go beyond the facade of the report is more important. Hi. From your project declaration, I think the project should be developed in MS Access because it allows you to create/ customize reports easily. Since your data increases, doing in Excel is not appropriate way especially for reports. I have been experienced in programming including Ms Access, Excel macro since 2000. During 2006-2013, I had been working as a senior developer for Financial system developed in MS Access. Until now I work with MS Access and Excel macro. I can develop your project using MS Access within your requested time frame after you finalize your detail requirements with me. Also it can be developed that raw data from other system can imported to MS Access automatically (I will create code where you choose the file, and it will imported into MS Access).
