I need an FEA run on a 42" x .375 wall steel pipe (90ft section) running horizontally in compression. The dead load of the pipe itself must be taken into account (will contribute to bending). In your bid, please state the program you will use for the FEA. Additionally, there must be a bolted flange connection in the center of the member. This must be sized. If you are capable of sizing this connection, please state so in your bid.

I have worked on a pipe FEA before in which the pipe is made of copper but it also runs horizontally like in your case. I can get the analysis done either in Ansys or Autodesk Multiphysics.
