Hi, I am an expert in HFSS, CST, ANTENNA MAGUNS AND FEKO with 10 yards of RF experience in RF/Antenna Design. I have recently created a project titled Dual-band microstrip slotted patch antenna in CST and Feko. The creation of the slot in a normal patch antenna is used to shift the frequency in the Frequency domain,
to Steps are as follows,,
dimensions calculations and creation of a ground plane..
dimension calculations and creation of the substrate..
The substrate height is considered as 1.6 mm..
draw a path on top of the substrate and add dimensions such as the length ad width of the patch.
Calculate the length and width of the feedline,, and creation of the feed..
Finally, the creation of slot and addition of a gap on the feedline to create the feed impedance to match the line for inset feed..
Subtract the gap slot from the patch and create an inset fee structure..Unite feedline with patch...
Create the u-shaped slot on the path surface... and draw a rectangle,, change the plane into xy plane before that..and make three rectangles on the surface of the path and unite these rectangles..subtract the slot from the patch and you shaped slot is created...., assign boundaries,, make a lumped port and create frequency set up,, set up parametric sweep and run the simulations..
Let us get in my inbox, and I can get the design for you with the given specifications...
