I previously worked as Director of Business Development for youth charity The Hackney Pirates. I wrote their three-year fundraising strategy, which included various income streams but mainly income from trusts and foundations. I have extensive experience in researching and applying for grants from trusts and foundations with a youth focus and raised over £250,000 in one year. I have also worked with many social enterprises (including CICs) to help them grow their business through looking at different sources of income generation. This experience puts me in a good position to support PAL CIC with their fundraising strategy. I am flexible on my approach but I would propose the following: - Learn about PAL CIC, the ambition for growth and previous fundraising efforts (half a day) - Develop a budget and fundraising strategy, detailing income needed and potential sources (one day) - Research potential funders suitable for PAL CIC (one day) - Develop suggested copy for fundraising bids (one day) - Submit proposal of fundraising strategy, sources of fundraising, suggested text and tips for bids and timeline for applications (half a day) I have suggested the project will be delivered in 60 days due to other commitments, but this could change upon discussion of start date and urgency of completion.
