Amazon CloudFront implementation for highly dynamic generic website

For some time I am experimenting with a distribution of my highly dynamic website on Amazon CloudFront. Problems that I encountered include: - Some parts of my site should not be cached but served directly from my server. Alternatively, these pages should have a "minimum TTL" of 15 min whereas the TTL of the other pages could be as high as 1 month. Due to the structure of my site it is difficult to set cache control headers in the pages (all have the same header). - The site is currently served from the root domain and not from a "www" subdomain. Therefore, I cannot set a CNAME record with my DNS service to route queries to *.cloudfront.net. I can also not set nameservers for my root domain but only an IPv4 or IPv6 address. Setting of name servers would, however, be possible if I would move the content to a "www" subdomain.
