Entry-Level FrameCAD Machine Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level FrameCAD Machine Operator, starting MARCH 1 OR SOONER. As a vital member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining 3 FrameCAD machines to produce high-quality steel framing components for various home construction projects. You will also be training new hires (over the next 6 months) to run the machines. While not running the FrameCAD machines (20% of your time) you will help with general construction of the wall panel assemblies, using the metal framing you created. See [login to view URL] Pay Rate: - Starting at $19/hour with $5/hour bonus if forklift certified, 30 to 40 hours per week Qualifications for this 1099 job: - Local, within 1.0 hour drive of Marianna, FL - Proficiency in operating high speed machinery - Ability to work within tight tolerances (1/16 inch) - Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new processes quickly - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team - Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings - Familiarity with CAD/CAM software like AutoCAD LT, Fusion 360, and/or Solidworks - Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred but not required OPTIONAL: - Forklift certification is worth $5/hour raise on base pay rate Key Responsibilities: - Machine Operation: Operate the FrameCAD machines efficiently and safely according to established procedures and guidelines - Material Handling: Load and unload 6 foot metal coils and other materials onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and positioning for optimal production - Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to maintain specifications - Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the machine, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed - Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions with the machine, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime - Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including materials used, quantities produced, and any relevant quality control data - Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 80 pounds) - Standing, bending, and stooping for extended periods - Comfortable working in a noisy and sometimes dusty environment - Wear jumpsuit with PPE stored on hangar Benefits: - TBD, since you would start as a 1099 employee and transition to W-2 How to Apply: If you are enthusiastic about starting a career in manufacturing and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this position.
