Skills and Experience Required: - Strong knowledge of Tensorflow and audio classification techniques - Experience in developing specific models for audio classification - Familiarity with environmental sound datasets and preprocessing techniques - Ability to fine-tune and optimize models for noise detection - Understanding of different noise types and their characteristics Project Details: - The project involves developing a noise detection model using Tensorflow for classifying environmental sounds. - The primary purpose of this classification model is to accurately detect and classify different types of noise in audio files. - The freelancer should have a specific model in mind for the classification task and should be able to implement it using Tensorflow. - The model should be trained on a suitable environmental sound dataset and optimized for noise detection. - The freelancer should also be able to fine-tune the model and improve its performance using techniques like data augmentation and transfer learning. - The freelancer should collect necessary dataset and audio clips. - The model will be deployed outdoors. Ambient noises need to be considered during training. Deliverables: - A fully functional Tensorflow audio classification model capable of accurately detecting and classifying different types of noise in audio files. - Documentation and instructions on how to use and deploy the model. - We'll need to run the model on a raspberrypi, hence tflite will be used. This may include leveraging open-source datasets and gathering additional audio clips to ensure a comprehensive variety. Data Preprocessing: Clean and preprocess audio data, segmenting clips, normalizing volumes, and extracting relevant features suitable for model training. Model Selection: Based on the unique characteristics of noise types, I plan to employ a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) or Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) approach. These networks have proven effective for audio classification tasks in my previous projects. Training & Optimization: Use Tensorflow to train the chosen model on the dataset, followed by fine-tuning using techniques like data augmentation and transfer learning to boost performance. Conversion to TFLite: Once optimized, I'll convert the model to TFLite format, ensuring its compatibility with Raspberry Pi deployments. Similar Work Experience: Urban Sound Classification: Developed a Tensorflow-based model to distinguish urban sounds (e.g., car horns, sirens). Voice Activity Detection: Created a model to detect human speech amidst background noise, utilizing CNNs and RNNs.
