Android Mobile App for Delivery - With SOURCE CODE

NOTE: SOURCE CODE SHOULD BE PROVIDED The mobile app is expected to work with android mobiles. We are not targeting the iOS now. This might go into further enhancement based on the demands from customer. The app should have the interface for 1. Customer 2. Delivery Agent 3. Admin The customer should have the option to raise a request for the delivery of the item. Customer should be able to specify the values for following parameters: 1. Source Address (pinned on google map) 2. Contact person’s name at source 3. Contact person’s mobile number at source 4. Destination Address (pinned on google map) 5. Contact person’s name at destination 6. Contact person’s mobile number at destination 7. Approx distance (will be calculated if source and destination address are pinned on google map else should be entered by the customer) 8. Number of packages 9. Size and weight of each package 10. Approx cost of the item (will be used in case of damaged or missing items claim) 11. Delivery mode (bike, or delivery van) 12. Preferred time slot for pick up 13. Preferred time slot for drop 14. Payment liability (source or destination) More parameters might be added based on further discussion on the project. Based on the values entered for the various parameters, the estimate will be generated and displayed to customer with confirmation message if the customer wants to proceed. NO PAYMENT OPTION IS REQUIRED THROUGH THE APP AT THIS TIME. ALL PAYMENTS WILL BE HANDLED SEPARATELY DEPENDING ON THE CUSTOMER. If accepted by customer, the request will be raised. Customer should receive the alert (on app / mobile message / email) for each status update by admin or delivery agent. Customer can change any of these parameters in the request till the time this is not assigned to delivery agent. On any change the admin should receive alert to review the request as the request has been updated. No change is allowed by customer after this is assigned to customer in which case the admin should be contacted. Admin should receive the alert (on app / mobile message / email) with details about the request raised by customer. Admin should be able to assign the delivery agent and key in the name and number of the contact person in case of any query or issue (this can be set to default coming from the admin profile and can be updated by admin if required). Once the customer raises the request the status should be In Review. Once assigned to the delivery agent the request status should be Accepted. On assignment the customer should receive alert for acceptance with the detail (name, mobile number) of the delivery agent. The message should also include the mobile number provided by admin for any query or issue. Admin should have the option to cancel the request or put it on hold with comments. Cancelled request should not be deleted as the data might be required in future. Delivery Agent should receive the alert (on app / mobile message) with details about the request once assigned by admin. The delivery agent should have the option to change the request status: - On way to pick-up - Package Picked - On way to drop - Package delivered Please note the delivery agent should not have the option to assign, cancel, or put a request on hold. For any of these operations the delivery agent or customer should reach the admin
