Image editor in C#

For example on the split function, the line can be drawn using the x-coordinate of the first click while dynamically redrawing when dragging on the 'y' direction. Hi.. Regarding the split function: it will draw the line from any point where the pointer is located? should it draw the line while keeping the left-click of the mouse pressed? I understand that all changes will affect only the binary image. Should the binary image be shown in any moment during edition mode?
