Hello, I can make the windows service and the automatic installer for it. The service will check periodically after launching if the target process is running. If not it will start it again. It would be easier for me to make it in C# /.NET but if you insist with VB.NET then I have no objection. I made this kind of guardian/monitor services in the past and also have the code to launch the application using user impersonation features. Best regards, Patrik

I am a senior software developer with more than 20 years of experience in desktop applications, using Visual Basic from its first version to the actual .Net. I can develop a Windows service with self installation, otherwise it should be installed manually, but I have to understand what do you mean about "start with user credentials", because when a user is not logged on, nothing of its environment is available, therefore execute a task with its credentials is dangerous. Furthermore store the logon credential of each users (they can't be retrieved from operating system without an hack but it isn't a good practice) in any computer where the software will be installed, could be a security risk: we can avoid this using others permissions for the service.
