Looking for a Wix expert (in coding js) who can write a few lines of code which have to be integrated into the actual page code, which is:
import wixData from 'wix-Data';
function getData(){
let query = [login to view URL] ('U16AGalleryDemoDB');
return [login to view URL](100).find().then(results => {
[login to view URL]('getData', results);
return [login to view URL];
});
}
$[login to view URL]( () => {
$w('#galleryWriteDataSet').onAfterSave ( () => {
getData().then ((items) => {
$w('#pictureShow').data = items;
});
});
});
As you see, the actual code allows me to load new element (container) into a repeater, and then to edit each sub-element into the container (buttons and images).
For the record, this happens on a 'private form-page' where users are allowed to load their own pics. The page itself is connected to a database and the database to a 'public gallery page', so when they will add or edit a picture, the public gallery will show the changes being automatically updated.
What I am looking for is somebody able to assign to the (actually disconnected) "switch button" (see pic), a simple boolean value, the values which will activate/inactivate, hide/unhide, rather than making visible/invisible the page the container selected by the switch button into the repeater, so that it will be inactivated/removed from the public page.
The target is clear: the user has to be able to turn off/on (on the page, then on the public page) the container through the switch function.
I can also accept the idea to add a supplementary button (an 'x') in order to allow users to delete the container itself (instead of turning them off through the switch).
Would you do that?
Looking forward.
:)
