OSPOS: Open Source POS Add Qr code create and read -- 2

First Step in process: Add the ability to create a Qr code adding it to the item data for later recall. The items these are used for do not support UPC and cannot support UPC in the future. The item is entered into the data base and the user selects generate Qr code replacing the current method of create Barcode. This can be an add on to the current barcode and be a selection dropdown. Once entered the Qr code is saved to a blob in the database and will be available for display in the item detail line. I want to be able to print these Qr codes in the future onto lablels. The information contained in Qr code will be a UPC shipper number (barcode found on the box or outer of the item) and a url address that will be generated from the item [login to view URL] CodeIgnighter frame Bootstrap OSPOS application Second Step: When the new item is created a templated webpage will generate from the item information showing specific information from the item data. Name, Qr code, product description, other information and an item image. Third step: The Qr code will be read at the cash register/till point and limited information, Item, price and ID number with quantity will be displayed. This will replace the barcode read function of the POS scanner.
