This project milestone is about polishing a functional MVC website prototype implemented in php with the CodeIgniter framework. The website in question offers to its customers a clever online home management platform. You will be in charge first of refactoring a bit the source code (3 days) and then improving the existing features (3 days) and fixing bugs (2 days). If this first milestone is achieved with success it would lead to an extended collaboration on new tasks in the future. Requirements: * Html, css and javascript are no secret to you. * You have a general idea of what makes a good ui; you care for the end-user. * You know the pitfalls of supporting multiple browsers (ie, firefox, chrome, safari). * A few years of experience with php and prior experience with CodeIgniter framework. Bonuses: * You are experienced with mobile web applications too (android + ios). * You work with git already and your preferred text editor is sublime. * You have used automatic code formatting tools in the past. * You know how to make uml diagrams. I have been working with php for the 4th year now. I have used Code-igniter framework before. Other projects that I have done I have used Yii and fort others Zend Framework. I always make sure that the user interface is is very friendly. Simplicity is the key.
