Mediaplayer for Blackberry handhelds (Reseach in Motion) Two parts: Part 1 * mediaplayer software application for video and audio content in supported file formats (not streaming media), installable on Blackberry handhelds, esp. the 8700 series (name: 'AxzPlayer for Blackberry') * coded in Java, according to the RIM standards, see [login to view URL] Please be or become a member of the Blackberry developers community * with install file format for the Blackberry Desktop (Windows) application loader (installer) * supported media formats: .MP3 (audio), MPEG4 video H263 .avi .mpg file formats; video format: 320x240 pixels, 24bit color depth PLEASE CHECK ENCLOSED ZIPFILE WITH DETAILED SPECS * easy user interface, with - menu bar with functions play, stop, pause, forward, backward, volume up, volume down, file menu (to start file manager) - full screen modus (no menu bar) - file manager to show scrollable list of mediafiles and click-and-play function (auto/execute) Part 2 * media (videofile) conversion application for Windows XP/2000 desktop clients to convert video files to the Blackberry format, ready for uploading (PLEASE CHECK ZIP FILE for formats, default format for output = MPEG-4 Part 2 Simple Profile and DivX) Name: AxzConverter for Blackberry Mediaplayer * easy installable in predefined directory in /program files/AxzConverter * easy handling of the large video mediafiles to convert (input), formats mpeg2, mpeg4, wmv, .avi, .mp(e)g .wmv formats * one-click conversion into two display formats: for the Blackberry Pearl and Blackberry 8700 platform that are automatically stored on hard disk in appropriate directory ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
