Squire Technologies are looking to create a PoC cloud lab environment based on OpenStack to investigate the reality of deploying their set of software only products into a cloud environment over a server pool . Squire Technologies produce a range of Linux based Telecommunication products. The purpose of this PoC is to investigate the challenges and reality of integrating and deploying these products into a cloud environment through NFV orchestration using third party orchestration tools (Cloudify,etc). The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of setting up a cloud environment and deploying software through orchestration into this environment. Telecoms experience (VoIP) would be an advantage.

The cloud environment is built on OpenStack with High availability to handle high load production environments. I would love to assist on the POC for OpenStack with choosing the hardware, the network stack and the type of the network that needs to be deployed based on your requirement as well as setting up the cloud as well as the network stack. Hi there, I am having experience installing OpenStack in different environments on daily basis and also at events like ETSI plugfests for the various pourposes of testing the Cloudifications of the VNF. Until now I deployed more than 60 Openstack (Red Hat and Canonical, in Production) and various kind of VNF (vEPC, vRAN, vCDN) and so on. So, to cut the story short, I am without any dubt one of the best suited candidate you could get :)
