We had an Oracle Standard One database that was running perfectly well for a few years. One fine morning this Oracle installation started running really slow. We tried several routes. The same database backed up and copied on another server is running perfectly well. The server seems fine in all other aspects. Before we delete the database and handover this server to the data center we need to urgently do a Root Cause Analysis on this installation and provide the reason for the disruption to the client.
