Fist of all, the requirement is incomplete. What application you are planning to configure on cluster nodes. Because all applications doesnt support failover mechanisms or high availability. If is just a need of OS clustering, i suggest Redhat Cluster suit on a RHEL server. Redhat cluster suit has better stability than SuSE and other products. Is there any requirement identified for firewall and log monitoring? i would like to know exact requirement for this cluster setup. It will take 8 to 10 days to configure and test the cluster functionality
