I'm looking for a react native developer to either help update a native Java react native package or write a new one depending on whether an old one can be modified. I am a react native developer but do not have enough Java experience to be able to do it myself. I am using this package: [login to view URL] But it does not work with versions of Android > 8 as it is no longer being maintained. I believe this to be because of changes made to android itself - the job is to fork and fix this package so it works with all versions of Android, or write a new package to do its job. It must: * Bring the app in the background to the foreground using Headless JS and data only Firebase Cloud Messaging (both already configured and working) * Bring the app to the foreground if it has been killed * Call a UI component to be shown on the lock screen that allows the user to unlock the device and navigate to the app. This is a very specific task and will possibly not take too long (hours / days) for the right person. Please take a look at the Java in the linked repo to give yourself an idea of what the task will be. Thanks.
