I have an iOS app that is currently built with a less-than-ideal design and I would like someone to help redesign the UI (and possibly give tips on UX improvements if needed). I am an indie developer that has a great time coding and a terrible time designing! This is a small app (4 screens) and should not require a significant amount of time. About the app: - A stopwatch application (more details given upon interview) - 4 screens, few UI elements - iOS 7/8 compatible - Mobile phone only. It is not and will not be iPad compatible. - Currently waiting for review in the App Store. Soft launch upon acceptance, full launch expected later this year. - VERY niche market. Not expected to make much money, but the possibility to change a growing sport. - Coded in Swift (doesn't affect you, but cool if new technologies excite you!) - Eventually will be built on Android and Windows Phone platforms as well What you will need to do: - Redesign the UI of the app to an iOS 8 feel (i.e. flat design, minimal, etc) - Provide screenshots of the new UI in the format of your choosing (I do not necessarily need a PSD, I won't be modifying it anyways) - Offer suggestions to improve UX if you have any What you will not need to do: - Code - Modify the Xcode project. I will translate the design to the storyboard. - Provide screenshots for multiple device sizes. You design the app for iPhone 6 and I can handle the auto layout constraints for the other devices. If you enjoy the work and perform well there may be additional work soon for the companion app (iPad only)!
