I have a spreadsheet that measures productivity (sales/hours). When extra tasks are accounted for by inputting extra hours for those tasks, I need the cost of those extra hours to be spread accross future months (excluding the current month and next month). To do this, I used this formula: =C9-(IF((COLUMN(C29)-2)>=MONTH(NOW())+2,SUM($C$23:$N$23)/(12-MONTH(NOW())),0)) The formula works, but does not achieve its desired purpose because when the month changes, the cost of the extra hours becoems excluded from the current month and next month and spread only accross future months. The cost that was spread to the prior month and following month need to remain. Perthaps it is possible to make the cells in row J lock on 8th of every month prior? Or for amount absorbed in row 7 for each month to be removed from the sum spread accross future months? However this formulais fixed, I want to avoid the use of macros or command buttons.
